Join us as we enjoy the lovely, trails of Bordentown Bluffs in the summertime! This walk will focus on simply enjoying being out in nature, and exploring the sights, scents, and sounds all around us.

We will meet at Bordentown Bluff, Stanton Ave, Bordentown, NJ 08505.

Please note that this trail does have some elevation changes, so bring your hiking sticks if you like to use them and wear good hiking shoes.

Join us on the First Saturday of each month to experience the health and wellness benefits of a walk in the outdoors. Each First Saturday Walk will explore a different part of the rich and diverse natural area known as the Abbott Marshlands. All walks are from 10 am to noon. In case of inclement weather, check the marsh website; any cancellations will be listed before 9 am on the day of the event. A light drizzle will not cancel. Program is free but registration is required.

Abbott Marshlands Photography Day: Connections
Sharing the moments that matter, every step of the way.

For INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY DAY today, August 19, we’re celebrating the connections photography helps us make: with nature, with the Abbott Marshlands, and with one another.

For the rest of August, share a favorite photograph taken along an Abbott Marshlands trail or at the Tulpehaking Nature Center, and tell us why that moment mattered to you. It might be a memorable wildlife encounter, a beautiful landscape, a quiet detail, or simply a moment that made you stop and look more closely. (The photo shown was an encounter on a past Wednesday Wonder Walk, in which this great blue heron landed on the trail ahead of us, and led 12 or so walkers for a while!)

Wednesday Wonder Walkers saw a few boats, with fishermen, on Spring Lake. There was tons of green throughout the marsh, and dragonflies everywhere. Thanks to all who came out on this beautiful day.
