The New Jersey Primary Care Association (NJPCA), the Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), dignitaries and partners throughout the State joined for a celebration of National Women’s Health Week on Friday, May 15 at Forsgate Country Club. It was a fun event full of smiles and celebrations. Here are some highlights!

NJPCA hosted the 2026 Women’s Health Luncheon on Friday, May 15, celebrating Senator Angela V. McKnight, Assemblywoman Luanne M. Peterpaul Esq., Deputy Majority Leader, and Assemblywoman Shanique Speight, Deputy Speaker for their commitment to NJ Community Health Centers. NJPCA also recognized Linda Y. Flake, MBA, for her 33 years of service.

Improving maternal health takes partnership.

At NJPCA’s inaugural Maternal Health Convening, leaders from across New Jersey came together to share strategies and strengthen the systems supporting pregnant and postpartum individuals.

“Collaborations make organizations stronger and make communities healthier.”

From perinatal mental health to community-based solutions like doula care and family support programs, the day focused on real ways to improve outcomes. A featured panel also highlighted the critical role Community Health Centers play in caring for families across the state.
