In New Jersey, every passenger in every seat is required to buckle up. This month, we’re partnering with the NJ Division of Highway Traffic Safety to enforce New Jersey’s lifesaving seat belt laws as part of the national Click It or Ticket campaign.
Drivers, before you hit the road, make sure everyone in your vehicle is buckled up and safe. Seat belts save lives.

Buckle up every trip, every time. Wearing your seat belt is the single most effective way to protect yourself and your passengers in a crash. Help keep our roads safe by making seat belt use a habit.

Hamilton Proud! The Hamilton Police Division K9 Unit ranks among the best in the nation.
Congratulations to our two K9 handlers and their K9 partners: PO Matt Mayhew with K9 Harv and PO Paul Piromalli with K9 partner Loki; for their incredible performance at the USPCA National Detector Dog Trials in Atlantic City!
After proving their skills and earning certifications at the regional level earlier this year, they moved on to Nationals in Atlantic City that was just held earlier this week. They went head-to-head with the best in the country, navigating touch, real world scenarios that pushed and tested both handler and K9. Hamilton Police Division is proud to report both teams performed exceptionally well this week earning their National Detector Dog Certifications!
