The Vice President of our team attended this 3-day class in Orlando, Florida this week. This was the first class of its kind to be put on by the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI). Knowledge, training, and experience are key components every investigator must possess to be considered an expert in this field, and we are excited to implement the things he learned into our team's policies and procedures.
The knowledge he obtained will not only make him a better investigator, but will also make us better as a team.

Yesterday evening the BCFIT was requested by the City of Oxford Fire Department for a residential structure fire on Judy Dr. This fire is still under investigation.

Late last night the BCFIT was requested by West Chester Township - Government Fire Department for a structure fire investigation on Dimmick Rd. West Chester Police Department is also assisting in the investigation.

Last night the BCFIT was requested by Madison Township Fire Department for a structure fire investigation on Woodsdale Rd. This fire is still under investigation with the assistance of the Butler County Sheriff's Office.

On a busy 4th of July night, the BCFIT was requested by the City of Middletown Division of Fire, to assist with a structure fire investigation on Morgan Street. This fire is still under investigation.

Early this morning the BCFIT was requested by Fairfield Township Fire Department for a structure fire investigation on Elora Ln. This fire is still under investigation.

Yesterday evening, BCFIT investigators were requested to assist Liberty Township Fire- Butler County, Ohio with a residential structure fire on Cherry Laurel Dr. This fire is still under investigation.
