6:45 AM - 8:00 AM Pack Test for RT-130 training
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM OR UNTIL FINISHED RT-130, Interview, Orientation
WMI management will interview new/prospective personnel during this training.

February 1:
6:45 AM – 8:00 AM 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM OR UNTIL FINISHED Pack Test for S-130 training

S-130 Field Day participants
If you need an S-130 field day, YOU MUST COMPLETE THE ONLINE S-130 AT NWCG.GOV.

The Pack Test will begin promptly at 7:00 AM and run until 8:00 AM. If you do not arrive on time for the pack test, you will be required to find another avenue to get it completed. Please bring appropriate footwear and attire for the pack test. Everyone must bring their own pack vest or backpack with 45 pounds of weight.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Paramedic State License
• A recent minimum of one year’s patient care experience in a pre-hospital setting within your scope of practice
• CPR certificate
• ACLS certificate
• Basic Wildland Firefighting courses – S-130, S-190, L-180
• Field Exercise Day if S-130 was completed online
• Disaster Response Courses – IS-100, IS-200, IS-700
• 2025 Arduous Work Capacity Test
• 2025 RT-130 Wildland Refresher (if S-130 or the S-130 Field Day was completed in the previous year). We will not accept a virtual RT-130
• Must be in good physical condition
• Accustomed to working in an austere environment
• Good driving record

JOB TYPE:
Seasonal/ Temporary

WAGES & BENEFITS:
Paramedic $33/hour first year deployed, $34.47/hour returning deployed personnel - and EMT $23.65/hour first year deployed, $26/hour returning deployed personnnel * (average 40 hours/ week, 72 hours OT) also includes performance bonuses and H&W stipend. In addition, employees receive an annual PPE stipend of $100.
