Anyone wanting a smaller bin - make sure you reach out to DPW!

The smaller 64-gallon recycling carts have arrived at Casella, and home deliveries are underway this week.

Casella crews will work down the request list and drop off carts throughout the week. If your small barrel hasn't arrived by trash day, please continue using your old recycling bin or the 96-gallon cart in the meantime. Casella will collect all recycling during the transition.

SeniorCare Inc in conjunction with the Hamilton Senior Center is now distributing Senior Farmers' Market Coupons!

To receive coupons in 2026:
• Individuals must be 60 years of age or older
• Must meet the income eligibility guidelines (under $2,461. month, household of 1 and $3,337. month household of 2)
• Eligible seniors will receive $25.00 in coupons that can be used to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables at participating Farmers' Markets and farmstands through October 2026.

Coupons are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis! Stop by the Hamilton Senior Center (299 Bay Road) today to grab yours! 🍓🍅🥝🫐

Need assistance with Medicare? Hamilton now has a SHINE counselor!

SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Everyone…on or eligible for Medicare) can help! A certified SHINE counselor is now also available at Hamilton Senior Center, and offers free, unbiased, confidential counseling on all aspects of health insurance to anyone on or eligible for Medicare. A SHINE counselor will also assist to help you understand Medicare and your options. Or, if you find yourself enrolled in a plan that is not in your best interest, a SHINE counselor will review your coverage and help to determine if you are qualified to make a change at this time of year.
