Tomorrow, May 14, 2026, is the last day to apply in person for an absentee ballot. This election is finally upon us! That’s good news! The other great news for our county is the number of softballers that will be playing in Oxford on Monday and Tuesday next week at the State Championship. 🥎 If you want to both cast your vote and make it to the state tournament next week, the deadline to cast the absentee ballot is tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. You can do that at the Marion County Circuit Clerk’s Office located on the 2nd floor of the Marion County Courthouse. Go vote and go teams!!!!

I've been working, after receiving some messages, to better format the list. I have appreciated the feedback!! What is user friendly for me, isn't for everyone.

When I pull the data from the voter registration, the information for voters is separated by precinct. That's how the list I published yesterday was organized--alphabetical order by precinct. It's easy to search if you are on the computer. You simply click CNTRL-F. However, the majority of people use their phones to scroll social media. There is no shortcut option on your phone.

I have created another Google Sheet, this time run completely alphabetically. You will look for your last name. There is still some separation by precinct, but more easier. I truly hope this helps!!!

Here is the alphabetical list---

The voter list, with County Commission district lines assigned to each voter by the voter registration system, was published in the Journal Record yesterday. I am going to publish that same list here in two different formats. One link will pull up the PDF that was published in the newspaper. The other link will pull up a Google Sheet, that is searchable using the same CNTRL-F shortcut you would use in Excel, if you are using a computer. If you use your phone, you will just have to scroll. Both of these formats have pros and cons. I am working hard to get this information out to help eliminate confusion on election day. I hope this is helpful!

This is the PDF of the voter list from the Journal Record--

This is the searchable Google Sheet, which is separated by precinct and alphabetized--

I'm so thankful for feedback!! I pull the data and it is alphabetical by precinct. That's how it was published. This is the updated version that is NOT separated by precinct, but strictly alphabetical. I'm trying! 😀

The probate office is trying to get important information out to the public about the May 19th Primary Election. This video clip explains primary elections, ballot contents, and what we are doing to get information out regarding the new county commission district assignments. Look for the D1, D2, D3, D4, or D5 beside your name in this week’s Journal Record.

PSA- The Marion County Courthouse will be closed for the state holiday Confederate Memorial Day tomorrow, April 27, 2026. This is not a federal holiday, so the post office and banks will be open. Schools will be in session. We try to keep you aware so that you can plan your day accordingly!
