Happy first day of school, Hamilton! 🏫🔔

We celebrated at Move&Groove and Storytime by reading books about school, including "Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes", "If You Take A Mouse to School", "The Pigeon Has to Go to School", and "The King of Kindergarten". After our stories, we had free play time where the kiddos had fun building with boltz toys and Legos, and playing giant Connect Four. 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

Ada Kate and I have sure missed our friends, but we're back! 😁 We hope to see you tomorrow morning at 9 AM for Move&Groove and Storytime. We will plan to read a few stories and have free play time after. 📖

I apologize for being MIA this past week. A surgery I had scheduled for November had to happen sooner, so I spent last weekend in the hospital and this week resting and recovering.
I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding. ❤️

Did you know that August 8th is International Cat Day? Join us at 10 AM for an hour of kitty cat stories, crafts, and activities. Children are welcome to bring a stuffed cat from home with them to storytime. 🐈‍⬛😺️🐈

I want to say a huge "THANK YOU!" to all of our guest readers and guest presenters who volunteered their time during our 2026 Summer Reading Program, "Plant a Seed, Read". 🌱📖

Our guest readers were Skyler Asbury, Melissa Bolton, Jessica Bell, Erin Kelly, Kelly Celania, and Megan Wendling. Our guest presenters were Ron and Julie from Sutter Produce Co., Jess the Flower Mom and her assistant Noah, Mayor Bocephus Casey, Charles Dadant, Chase Hartweg, and Sara Harrison from Green Grass Farm&Gardens. And of course we can't forget our special visits from Quincy Children’s Museum and Llama Llama! 🌻🐐🐝🐔🍯🦆
