My name is Danny McKay, and I am asking for your vote for Magistrate in the upcoming election.
I have lived in Lincoln County since I was 5 years old. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Shannon, for the past 25 years. We are the proud parents of Brady and Hayden McKay.
I graduated from Hamlin High School in 1994 and attended Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College and Marshall University.

I have worked as a carrier for the Postal service for over 30 years. I believe in the betterment of my community and have been privileged to serve the town of Hamlin for past 22 years, first as councilman and then as recorder.

As Magistrate, I will ensure all cases are heard in a timely matter. I believe justice should be applied regardless of where you live in the county or your political affiliation. I believe rulings from the magistrate office should be made according to the law and without regard to how large the county’s jail bill is. No longer should the people of Lincoln County fear the senseless theft and destruction of the things they have worked hard for. We can no longer afford the practice of catch and release policies that have destroyed our communities across our country.

Thank you and I’d appreciate your vote for Lincoln County Magistrate Div 2,
Danny Mckay

In 2022 big changes were made for the better in Lincoln County politics. It was not the doing of any one person, but rather a group of like-minded people, with an idea that Lincoln County
could do better. A lot of positive changes and work has taken places but there
is still a lot of work to do. We do not subscribe to the idea that ones identity
is wrapped up in their party affiliation. We support people who are true
conservatives. We have seen an influx of people switching their political
parties in hopes to pass themselves off as conservatives. One candidate ran in
2022 for assessor as a democrat and now seeks the same office as a republican.
The incumbent commissioner supported every single democrat who ran and lost in
2022. Shortly after the election he resigned as treasurer of the Democratic Executive
Committee and changed his party to republican. He stated in the Lincoln Journal
that his views and values have not changed. What that tells us is he has the
same liberal values, but knows that would get him unseated in November. We need
true conservatives who will put Lincoln County ahead of their own political
survival. On behalf of the entire Lincoln County Conservative PAC we would like
to introduce you to our Candidates.

Jody Pistore for County Commission

Dan Clayton for Sheriff

Lonnie Wilson for Magistrate

Danny McKay for Magistrate

Jamie Linville for Assessor

Davie “Flimsy” Adkins for House of Delegates

Daniel Cartwright for School Board

Robert Mosteller for School Board

We currently only have one conservative
voice on the County Commission. We need to get her some help. One vote out of a
three-person quorum is not enough. We need a Commission that is ran with the
best interests of our citizens. A true conservative addition who has experience
running a business and getting things done.

Lincoln county needs a Sheriff who has
a clear plan and vison for law enforcement. One who shows up for work everyday
and will fight to move the department into an area of compliance. A sheriff who
will tackle the issue of drugs and crime, by surrounding himself with people
who know how to get the job done. We believe he is what the Lincoln County
Sheriff’s Department needs. A fresh perspective to run the office according to the
law, while looking for ways to bring resources into the county.

We are confident that our two
candidates for Magistrate will follow the letter of the law in all aspects of
the job. We need law and order Magistrates who believe in and abide by the
constitution. People who will put following the law ahead of politics, and who
are capable of doing the job.

Let’s keep a real conservative in the
Assessors office. Not just one who wants to pretend to be conservative to make
another run for office. We do not need a liberal in charge of taxes in our
county. Our current Assessor has been working tirelessly to get his office into
a place of compliance. We need him going forward to finish the job. We applaud
his efforts to clean up the mess he inherited, and also for fighting a pointless
office switch that would have cost the taxpayers thousands of dollars.

We need to ensure that our district
is represented in Charleston by someone who shares our values. Flimsy has
proven time after time that he will put people ahead of politics. Help us send
him back to the capital this year to continue advocating for our citizens.

We need to fight to send Senator Mike Stuart to the Attorney Generals office. Mike backs the blue and is a law and order Conservative.

In 2022 three conservatives were
elected to the Board of Education. With this came a conservative quorum on the
school board for the first time in over ninety years. They have accomplished a
lot in two short years. The Lincoln County School System has thrived more than
ever under conservative leadership. We must maintain this conservative. We know
that our two candidates will do the right thing. They will weigh each decision
carefully and act in the best interests of our children and the educational improvement
in our county.

In 2022 voters went to the polls
and spoke up. Tired of politics as usual. Tired of the good ol boys clubs and
the way things had been done for generations. This was not a movement by a
single candidate or political committee. This was a resounding cry for change
from voters in both political parties. A shared desire for a better place to
live and raise our kids. To better Lincoln County for the generations that will
come when we are gone. Last election we ask you all for a VOTE FOR CHANGE and
you delivered. This year we come to you again and ask for a vote to FINISH THE
JOB!

David “Flimsy” Adkins is a lifelong resident of Lincoln County. I have raised my four children in Lincoln County with my wife Tina Dean Adkins. Together we have spent many hours volunteering and coaching various youth sports teams. I see the benefit that extracurricular activities has on the children and families of Lincoln County. As members of Hamlin United Methodist Church, we spend time volunteering and serving the community. I
David Adkins saw a need in my hometown of Hamlin ten years ago when I decided to run for Mayor of Hamlin. I have spent the last ten years working with the Hometown Hamlin Committee and others to bring life back to the small town in the county seat.
I believe that with hard work anything is possible. I spent many years working in the Oil^ Gas field and Trucking industry. I have also been a small business owner and was able to employee Lincoln County workers. I’ve seen the need to bring businesses into Lincoln County to give Lincoln Countians options for employment so they are able to continue to live in the area.
I am a Conservative Republican. I stand for family values. During my time as a member of the House of Delegates I was able to secure money for several of the rural community centers and some school related clubs. I see the potential within our area and the citizens of Lincoln County. When re elected, I will continue to work for the people of Lincoln County and their needs.

Thank you David “Flimsy” Adkins
