Thankfully we were able to make a quick knock down on this house fire today at approx 2pm. The fire was kept in two rooms and some in the attic area. A special Thank you to our LEMS crews for stepping up and lending a hand till other crews arrived as well. Medics and EMTs dragging hose and dressing a hydrant is always a good day. Also thank you to Duval and West Hamlin Fire Depts. on scene and lastly thank you to the hidden voice never seen in person at L911.

We commenced the new year with a successful response to a residential fire. Swift action by multiple departments facilitated the preservation of a home during the early morning hours of 2026. Appreciation is extended to West Hamlin FD, LEMS, and L911 for their support.
