🥛 4-H DRAW-A-DAIRY BILLBOARD CONTEST 🎨🖼️

✨ Purpose:
The Draw-A-Dairy Billboard Contest gives 4-H members the chance to:

Learn about the importance of milk and milk products for healthy bodies.
Showcase communication skills by creating a billboard promoting milk and/or milk products.
Share their knowledge with others through their artwork.
🌟 Sponsors:
Co-sponsored by the Louisiana Dairy Industry Promotion Board and the Louisiana Cooperative Extension Service.

👦👧 Who Can Enter:
Any bonafide 4-H club member.

📋 Divisions:

Division I - 4th, 5th, and 6th grades
Division II - 7th and 8th grades
Division III - 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades
📅 Important Dates:

All entries must be submitted by May 8, 2025.
📌 Contact your local 4-H office for parish deadlines. All entries must be submitted through the parish 4-H office.

Spending the morning out at Mr. Warner Hall’s Fall Field Day in St Helena Parish. Sharing La Dept of Ag and Forestry SFMNP program info and conducting specialty crop priority outreach. Wonderful weather brought a huge crowd of farmers as well as ag students from local schools.

Mark your calendars! A PSA Grower Training + Optional GAPs Food Safety Plan Workshop to be held in Hammond on September 26-27!

Who should attend this training? Fruit and vegetable growers, farmers market vendors, and others interested in learning about produce safety, the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule, good agricultural practices, and co-management of natural resources and food safety.

This course satisfies the FSMA Produce Safety Rule requirement outlined in section 112.22(c). It is $20 to register.
