This week, 15 mosquito samples in our district have tested positive for West Nile Virus. Additional treatments will be performed in the affected areas, weather permitting. We are asking all of our residents to practice basic defense measures to help protect against the disease.

Of the 1,811 samples tested thus far in 2026, 146 have returned positive for WNV. There have been zero reported human cases in our district this year.
