Come out and support our local disabled veterans on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at the Schererville Police Department.

📍 Location: 25 East Joliet St., Schererville, IN
🕣 Registration begins: 8:30 AM
🚶 Walk starts: 10:00 AM

This event helps raise funds that directly benefit our local disabled veterans and supports the mission of Disabled American Veterans: empowering veterans to live high-quality lives with dignity and respect.

🚨 VETERANS TORNADO ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE TODAY 🚨

RIGHT NOW until 7:00 PM today, DAV representatives are in the parking lot of the Marine Corps League Howlin Mad Detachment 93 – “Tun Tavern” to assist veterans who may have been affected by the recent tornadoes.

📍 6880 Hendricks Street, Merrillville, IN
Directions: Go north on Hendricks St. from 73rd Ave.

Please stop by immediately if you need assistance. We cannot promise they will be available any other day at this moment.
