This position is responsible for maintaining campus turf and landscapes, including:
🚜 Mowing, edging, and trimming
🌱 Pruning, mulching, and w**d control
🌼 Assisting with planting and landscape projects

Southeastern Louisiana University’s Physical Plant Services invites applicants for a seasonal, part-time position as helper for the Student Housing Landscape crew. Tasks include mowing, string trimming, and edging turf areas, along with various other landscape duties.

This position offers 17 to 20 hours of work per week during the mowing season (March through September). The hours worked each week are somewhat flexible between 6:00 a. m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. This position is subject to “rain out” or rescheduling during inclement weather.

Prior experience operating zero-turn-radius lawn equipment and gas-powered landscape hand tools is preferred. Adaptability for work scheduling is also preferred. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
