This is how the CRDA and a County government spend YOUR money. This is exactly what they are doing with South Jersey Gas too!

PENNSAUKEN TOWNSHIP – Just off Route 73, near a seedy motel and a megachurch, is a redevelopment project that has strayed far off course.

Go to the bottom of this article. South Jersey Industries says that they have about 200 employees in Folsom, and they are moving about 200 employees to AC. That's good for Folsom?

FOLSOM — South Jersey Industries believes a state-of-the-art headquarters overlooking the ocean in Atlantic City, with access to nearby hotels and entertainment, will help attract the best workers to its South Jersey Gas subsidiary.

A huge, politically-connected company gets a multi-million dollar "no bid" contract to build South Jersey Gas Company's new Headquarters in Atlantic City. And they're using your tax money to do it! Hmmmm, wonder if that's why they rammed this through so fast?

The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority approved architectural and engineering plans for the Gateway project Tuesday.

This guy thought it was a great idea to use $145 Million to build a parking garage in AC and he LOVES the idea of moving South Jersey Gas from our area to AC too. His business it located in Atlantic City. Remember his name everyone, it's Frank Formica! (Jimmy Bertino didn't even bother to show up to this important vote - the Freeholders voted unanimously in favor of it.)

The last chance to stop Atlantic County Government from using $145 Million in loan guarantees to move South Jersey Gas to Atlantic City is at the County Freeholder Meeting - Tuesday, March 15th at 4pm at the Stillwater Building - 201 Shore Road in Northfield.

We hear our Freeholder, Jim Bertino, is not even going to bother to show up!

Go directly to the meeting or meet in the Hammonton Town Hall Parking Lot at 100 Central Avenue in Hammonton at 3pm and we will be following each other down or carpooling there.

I'm mad as Hell and I'm not going to take this anymore

Today's Press of Atlantic City Editorial.

Officials of well-run Hammonton must find it especially galling to have a major business taken from their town and Folsom to help badly run Atlantic City.

County Executive Denny Levinson, Freeholder Chairman Frank Formica, Chief of Staff Howard Kyle, ACIA Executive Director John Lamey and a cast of other rogues are taking your money and giving it to South Jersey Gas to move to Atlantic City.

ATLANTIC CITY — The Atlantic County Improvement Authority has voted to issue as much as $145 million in bonds for the Stockton University portion of the Atlantic City Gateway Project, with a maximum of $60 million guaranteed by county government.

Obviously they got to Mr. Pagano. Wonder if he forgot that SJ Gas, who he calls a "good neighbor", forced Folsom to write them a check for $45,000 when they just got their real estate taxes lowered? The people of Folsom will have to pay for that money SJ Gas took, or the Borough will have to cut services.

FOLSOM — Borough leaders are in disagreement over how to respond to South Jersey Gas’s decision to move to Atlantic City with the help of $12 million in state tax credits, taking about 170 well paid jobs with them.

North Jersey power brokers are picking at the bones in what is left of Atlantic City. That city is bad, and getting worse. The County and State want to use YOUR money to bail them out!

Legislation that gives the state sweeping power over Atlantic City’s finances and restructures the taxes paid by casinos is needed to avoid default or bankruptcy, Moody’s Investors Service said Wednesday.

Tomorrow, Mayor DiDonato will be traveling to Trenton to attend the State Local Finance Board Meeting. He will stand up for Western Atlantic County and ask for the Board to vote against or postpone their decision to allow the County to use YOUR money to relocate South Jersey Gas from our area to Atlantic City.

It looks like the County politicians are trying to find excuses for why they are using YOUR MONEY to move SJ Gas from Western Atlantic County and dump it into Atlantic City. Freeholder Chairman Frank Formica is the worst. He and County Executive Levinson and his Chief of Staff Howard Kyle should all be ashamed of themselves for their pathetic effort to prop up AC at the expense of the rest of the County.

This is a very risky scheme and every day we find out more terrible things about it. THEY MUST BE STOPPED!

When Hammonton and Folsom officials went to an Atlantic County freeholder meeting to ask for help stopping South Jersey Gas from moving from Folsom to Atlantic City, they spoke about how painful it is to see a longtime corporate partner leave.
