Hampstead NH Seniors age 62+:

Hello Seniors, Please see below for event information, sign up dates and times for our trip to Worcester Red Sox Baseball Game on August 7th.

This year we’re heading to Worcester, MA, to enjoy America’s favorite pastime. The Worcester Red Sox, the AAA affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, face Philadelphia during a special British Invasion theme night. We’ll stay for the post-game fireworks!

Date: Friday, August 7th, 2026

Cost: Hampstead Residents: $48 Non-Residents: $58

Departure: Departs Hampstead Park and Ride at 4:30pm

Food: Your ticket includes a $12 food credit.

Return: The bus arrives back in Hampstead at approximately 10:45pm

Sign-ups: Hampstead Residents: May 19 & May 21. Non-Residents: May 21

Below are a few important notes:
- Age 62 or older
- Signups are at the Hampstead Meeting House on Emerson Avenue from 9:00 to 10:30 AM on the specified dates.
- The first day is for Hampstead residents only; out-of-town residents may register on the second day for an additional $10 per trip.
- Signed waivers are required.
- Buses depart from Hampstead Park and Ride, Route 121 at McGregor Drive.
- Payment by cash or check only (payable to Town of Hampstead). A $35 fee applies for returned checks.
- Tickets are non-transferable and all sales are final. Refunds may be offered with sufficient notice if a waitlist exists.
- Prices are all-inclusive, except bus driver gratuity and alcoholic beverages.
- Boarding: Passengers needing assistance board first. Please remain in your seat for the entire trip.

🚧 Temporary Court Closure Notice 🚧
The outdoor basketball court is currently being resurfaced to repair damage caused by e-bikes.

Because of this, the courts are closed and cannot be used until 5/9.

Please stay off the courts during this time so the work can be completed properly and the surface isn’t damaged further.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we work to get the courts back in good condition for the community to enjoy.

Hampstead NH Seniors 62+

Hello Seniors,
Please see below for event information, sign up dates and times for our trip to Pickity Place & Catherdral of the Pines on June 17th, 2026.

Step back in time at Pickity Place, a charming red cottage in the scenic hills of southern New Hampshire that has inspired Elizabeth Orton James’ Little Red Riding Hood illustrations since 1786. Enjoy a delicious five-course meal, then take a leisurely stroll through the colorful flower and herb gardens or browse the quaint on-site shops.

Following lunch, we travel to Rindge, New Hampshire, to visit the Cathedral of the Pines, a multi-denominational sanctuary set atop a hill with sweeping panoramic views. Established after World War I, it honors the military service of American men and women.

Date: Wednesday June 17th, 2026

Location: Pickity Place, Mason NH and Cathedral of the Pines, Rindge, NH.

Cost: Hampstead Residents: $64 Non-Residents: $74

Bus: Departs Hampstead Park and Ride at 10:00 AM • Returns at 6:00 PM

Hello Seniors, Please see below for event information, sign up dates and times for our trip to Encore Casino May 20th.

Test your luck at Boston’s five-star resort and casino, Encore Boston Harbor, featuring over 2,700 slot machines on the main level, along with gaming rooms and tables on the terrace level. Your ticket includes a $20 gaming credit.

Date: Wednesday May 20th, 2026

Cost: $46 (Hampstead residents), $56 (non-residents)

Departure: Departs Hampstead Park and Ride at 9:15 AM for the casino.

Lunch & Gaming: Enjoy time at Encore Casino.

Dinner: At 2:30 PM, we depart for Prince Pasta in Saugus to enjoy a buffet featuring salad, penne with marinara sauce, chicken broccoli Alfredo, meatballs, bread, and a non-alcoholic beverage.

Return: The bus arrives back in Hampstead at approximately 6pm

❄️ Due to the winter storm, the February 24 sign-up session for the “Beauty and the Beast” trip to the Boston Opera House originally scheduled for 9:00–10:30 AM will now take place from 2:00–3:30 PM.

Hampstead NH Seniors 62+:

2026 BEST OF TIMES EVENTS AT
CASTLETON - WINDHAM, NH
(you must provide your own transportation for these trips)

Hampstead is participating in three Best of Times tribute shows at Castleton in Windham, NH this year.

All shows follow the same schedule:

Doors open at 11:15 AM
Lunch is served at 12:00 PM
The tribute show begins at approximately 1:10 PM

The cost for each show is $95, payable by cash or check only. Please make checks out to the Town of Hampstead. a $35 fee applies for returned checks.

You can sign up for these shows at the Hampstead meeting house during any scheduled sign-up period, but registration must be completed at least five weeks before the show date. (sign up dates: February 24 , February 26, March 9, March 11, April 7, April 9, May 19, and May 21)

Each show has a different menu. Please provide your meal choice when signing up.
