As another amazing summer at Hampstead Recreation comes to a close, I just want to say **THANK YOU!**

A huge thank you to our Recreation Director, Angie Ingraham for another incredible summer. Your hard work, organization, and dedication make these programs possible, and the positive impact you have on so many children and families is truly appreciated. Thank you for everything you do to make summer so special.

A special thank you as well to Sara Arroyo for stepping in and filling in when needed. Your willingness to jump in and help out ensured everything continued to run smoothly, and it was truly appreciated.

To our senior counselors and counselors, thank you for your energy, patience, creativity, and enthusiasm. You spent your summer making memories, keeping kids safe, and ensuring everyone had fun. The friendships you built and the smiles you created will be remembered long after summer ends. You should all be incredibly proud of the difference you made.

And to all of the families who chose to spend part of their summer with us, thank you for trusting us with your children and for being part of another fantastic season. We hope they head back to school with wonderful memories and stories to tell.

Ending the summer with our annual pie-in-the-face tradition is always the perfect way to celebrate another successful season! Here's to an amazing summer and an even better one next year! ☀️🥧❤️

Hampstead NH Seniors 62+

Please see below for event information, sign up dates and times for our trip to Cape Cod September 24th.

Did you know that even a brief glimpse of fall foliage—just 90 seconds—can help reduce stress and sharpen your focus? This year, we head south to experience the vibrant reds and golds of Cape Cod, passing cranberry bogs, salt marshes, and wooded landscapes from the comfort of a glass-domed train.
To make the journey even more special, enjoy a four-course gourmet meal served at your table in a private glass-domed dining car. Coffee and soft drinks are included, with a cash bar available. Meal selections, including vegan and gluten-free options, will be made at signup. It’s a relaxing and memorable escape—perfect for recharging before the holiday season.

Date: Thursday, September 24th, 2026

Cost: $157 (Hampstead residents), $167 (non-residents)

Departure: Departs Hampstead Park and Ride at 2:15pm.

Meal: Coffee and soft drinks are included, with a cash bar available. Meal selections, including vegan and gluten-free options, will be made at signup

Return: The bus arrives back in Hampstead at approximately 10:30pm

Sign-ups: Hampstead residents: July 7; Non-residents: July 9

Below are a few important notes:
Signups are at the Hampstead
Meeting House on Emerson Avenue from 9:00 to 10:30 AM on the specified dates.

The first day is for Hampstead residents only; out-of-town residents may register on the second day for an additional $10 per trip.

Signed waivers are required.

Buses depart from Hampstead Park and Ride, Route 121 at McGregor Drive.

Payment by cash or check only (payable to Town of Hampstead). A $35 fee applies for returned checks.
Tickets are non-transferable and all sales are final. Refunds may be offered with sufficient notice if a waitlist exists.

Prices are all-inclusive, except bus driver gratuity and alcoholic beverages.

Boarding: Passengers needing assistance board first. Please remain in your seat for the entire trip.

Join us for a Make-Your-Own Sundae Night where you can build your perfect ice cream creation with all the classic toppings—sprinkles, chocolate sauce, cherries, and more.

🕔 Time: 5:00 – 6:15 PM
📍 Location: The Meeting House, Hampstead
It’s a relaxed, social get-together—come enjoy a sweet treat, good company, and a little summer fun.
This event takes place before the 6pm Meetinghouse Park concert featuring The New Legacy Band.

Hampstead NH Seniors age 62+:

Hello Seniors, Please see below for event information, sign up dates and times for our trip to Worcester Red Sox Baseball Game on August 7th.

This year we’re heading to Worcester, MA, to enjoy America’s favorite pastime. The Worcester Red Sox, the AAA affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, face Philadelphia during a special British Invasion theme night. We’ll stay for the post-game fireworks!

Date: Friday, August 7th, 2026

Cost: Hampstead Residents: $48 Non-Residents: $58

Departure: Departs Hampstead Park and Ride at 4:30pm

Food: Your ticket includes a $12 food credit.

Return: The bus arrives back in Hampstead at approximately 10:45pm

🚧 Temporary Court Closure Notice 🚧
The outdoor basketball court is currently being resurfaced to repair damage caused by e-bikes.

Because of this, the courts are closed and cannot be used until 5/9.

Please stay off the courts during this time so the work can be completed properly and the surface isn’t damaged further.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we work to get the courts back in good condition for the community to enjoy.
