The Town of Surf City Fire Department will be conducting Hydrant Flow testing along Highway 210 from Alston Blvd to Wilkes Lane including all hydrants located in area business parking lots on Tuesday, June 9th.

Water will be discolored during this process and for several hours after flush is completed. Water will be drinkable during this time, but laundering is not advised.

Join us at the Town Council Meeting on Tuesday June 2 at 6:00 p.m. for the next step in Surf City’s budget process.
During this meeting a public hearing will be held regarding the proposed 2026-2027 budget. Town Council will have an opportunity to adopt the budget during this meeting. A budget for the town must be adopted no later than June 30, 2026.
Residents are encouraged to attend in person at the Surf City Municipal Complex or stream the meeting live at youtube.com/townofsurfcity.
