I was so honored to give the opening remarks and read the names of the Hampton Falls Revolutionary War patriots at the 'Echoes of 1776' special event at the Old Westview Cemetery. Remarks are below; remember these special patriots.
"Today we gather in the historic town of Hampton Falls to pay tribute to the men whose courage ignited the very idea of America. These Hampton Falls Revolutionary War veterans were ordinary people who chose extraordinary action.
They faced impossible odds with unwavering resolve, fighting not just for independence, but for the ideals that define America—liberty, justice, and the right to self-govern.
Their courage lit the spark of a nation. Their sacrifice shaped its destiny. And their legacy calls on us to protect the freedoms they fought to secure.
We will honor them not only with our words, but with our actions. We will remember that the Revolution lives on in every choice we make to strengthen our country and uphold its founding principles.
We are honored to speak their names, tell their stories, and carry their legacy with pride. And may we never forget that the liberty we enjoy today was purchased by their courage."
