Oh man.....how did we end up here?

Is this who you want representing us at the state level? She is not fighting to make anything better for us. She is serving the Free State movement.

Nothing to see here.....đź‘€Imagine a state where we just collectively had a set of morals.

Not pretty.

Republican lawmakers have churned out a deluge of bills affecting public schools, from curriculum overhauls to teaching prohibitions to tax caps.

NH Republicans are really just NH Free Staters..... and this is entirely in the agenda.

"Not all aspects of the bill have been hammered out: For instance, the Department of Education would be in charge of coming up with a system that allocates the 500 slots “in a manner that ensures equitable geographic distribution and fair access for students across all regions of the state.” The bill does not outline how it should do so."

They seek to wreak havoc, upend budgets and gouge the taxpayers.....that's why NOTHING is thought out, well planned or given adequate time to do so. They want to ram it through.

Spoiler: Since 2009, New Hampshire school districts have been free to voluntarily become open enrollment schools and accept students — and tuition payments — from out of their districts, but just one has done so, Prospect Mountain High School in Alton.

Doesn't seem to be a popular idea.....

Facing unexpected political headwinds, House and Senate Republicans are making one final attempt to pass an open enrollment law, which would allow students to attend public school districts outside of where they live.

🚨HB1300 (school district local tax cap) returns to the House for approval of Senate amendments - this bill would force all cities and towns to vote in November on whether to impose a property tax cap on school budgets, limiting communities' ability to meet student needs and rising costs for healthcare, transportation, and special education.

📌Email your State Rep and ask them to vote NO on HB1300

🚨SB434 (school censorship bill) returns to the Senate for approval of House amendments.

Email your Senator and ask them to vote NO on this censorship bill 💪👇

🚨HB155 is a giveaway to large, often out-of-state corporations and their lobbyists - money taken directly from schools, housing, child care, and health care. When that money disappears, towns still have to pay the bills, which means higher property taxes for homeowners and renters.

📌The NH Legislature is in the home stretch.

The House and Senate will meet just two more times, May 21 and June 4, before wrapping up the regular session. These final weeks are critical.

Let's start with the Governor. These bills have reached her desk and we are asking her to veto them.

🚨Veto HB348 (local welfare eligibility) - This bill adds a lengthy residency requirement to last-resort emergency assistance for food, shelter, and medicine, making it extremely difficult for residents in crisis to qualify. Call or write to the governor today.

🚨Veto SB552 and HB1442 (anti-transgender bathroom/locker room bills) - These bills legalize discrimination based on "biological s*x," erasing inters*x individuals and raising safety concerns. Urge the governor to veto all anti-transgender bills reaching her desk.
