Hampton Academy students will participate in a realistic, hands-on celebration of 250 Day on Wednesday, June 3, and we want to alert the community that things may get a little loud!

Students will be treated to a Revolutionary War reenactment that will include reenactors firing blanks from their muskets sometime between 11 and 11:30 a.m.

We want all of our supportive neighbors to know that there is no cause for alarm.

Students will also get to touch public safety vehicles, try on Colonial clothing and handle artifacts, and play colonial games. The event will culminate with a reading of the Declaration of Independence and the war reenactment.

As we enter the final marking term, SAU 90 and First Student want to ensure a safe ride for every student. Please review these quick expectations with your children:

Follow the Lead: Always follow the bus driver’s instructions.

Keep it Clean: No eating, drinking, smoking, or littering on the bus.

Safety First: Keep all harmful materials (to***co, alcohol, weapons, etc.) off the bus.

Stay Seated: Remain seated and facing forward; keep aisles clear and all body parts inside the bus.

Respect the Ride: Keep noise levels down and do not damage or write on the bus.

Important: The bus is an extension of the classroom. Failure to follow these rules may result in a loss of riding privileges.
