Your hosts: We've been happily married for over 43 years, both former military, both graduates of Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, IL; we are empty nesters, with two happily married, successfully launched kids, five grandkids and sometimes foster grandbabies. I spent a large percentage of many years caregiving my mother, who had Alzheimer's, while homeschooling my children from Kindergarten throug
h high school. I love to read; my favorite novel is Gods and Generals, by Michael Shaara. I delight in making my husband happy. The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is listen to my Bible app, and I love to meditate and pray. I am so excited about the future I am beside myself with joy! As a host, I will be whatever my guests or tenants need. If they need me to be available, I will be available. When we were both in Advanced Training in the military, I remember looking for a place that a group of us could go, when we had a rare weekend off post, to crash and relax. That is the kind of place I want to share with others. A "put your feet up and watch the game" kind of place. We have been blessed and we just want to share the blessing.
