We are excited to welcome workforce resources from the city of Hampton every month right here in our building starting on Wednesday, September 23, from 8:30–11:30 a.m.!

Whether you are looking for a new job, updating your resume, preparing for an interview, exploring career opportunities, or simply need some guidance on your next step, we are here to help!

This resource is available to parents and families of Smith students, and no appointment is needed, just stop by and sign in at the main office.

We look forward to helping our families with all things workforce and connecting you with resources that can help you move forward!

Community Partners Supporting Our Smith Sharks!

A HUGE thank you to 315 Logistics for selecting Smith Elementary as a recipient of a generous donation of bookbags and school supplies!

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to receive these items and provide them to our Smith Sharks. Having community partners who choose to invest in our students and families makes such a difference.

Our 5th graders jumped right into learning, exploring, and having fun! From our paper towel experiment in Science 🔬🧪 to getting outside for some football fun with Brother Andrew 🏈🙌, it was a week full of teamwork, discovery, and smiles!

We are off to a GREAT start, Sharks! 🦈✨ Keep up the hard work, keep learning, and keep making waves!

A huge thank you to former Mayor Donnie Tuck for spending part of his Friday with our amazing 5th graders! Our students had the opportunity to read, learn, and engage in meaningful conversations about the importance of RESPECT, a lesson that extends far beyond the classroom.

We are also incredibly thankful for one of our newest community partners, Rashad Tarpley with R.A. Images, for capturing these special moments and helping us preserve the memories of this fun Friday treat!
