Now that summer is here, is your incoming senior starting to think about their future and career options?

Franklin REC offers a variety of career paths in the energy industry—from power linemen and engineering to accounting, HR, and marketing. There’s something for a wide range of interests and skill sets.

If your student is curious about what a career in energy really looks like, we’d be happy to set up a job shadow day. It’s a great way to spend time in the field, ask questions, and get a real look at the work we do to serve our communities.

📚 We're out in our communities today picking up and restocking Community Book Houses!

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated books and helped support this project. Your generosity is helping us keep the joy of reading alive throughout our service area.

This month, Franklin REC is working to place five new Community Book Houses in the communities of Alden, Dows, Hansell, Popejoy, and Sheffield. In addition, we're restocking 13 existing book houses to ensure readers of all ages can continue to discover their next great book.

Every donated book helps plant the seed of reading in our communities. Thank you for helping us make a difference—one book at a time! 📖💚

Beginning Monday, June 1, Tjader & Highstrom will be assisting Franklin REC with power line construction north and west of Sheffield. Their crews will be working throughout the Franklin REC service territory over the next few weeks as construction projects continue. Please use caution when traveling near work zones and give crews plenty of space to work safely.
