📌 بيان توعوي صادر عن الهيئة السياسية اليمنية الأمريكية

انطلاقًا من مسؤوليتنا المجتمعية في توعية أبناء مدينة هامترامك بما يجري داخل مؤسسات المدينة، ومتابعة القضايا التي تمس حاضر المدينة ومستقبلها، فإننا نؤكد أن الحفاظ على النزاهة والشفافية داخل العمل البلدي مسؤولية جماعية تقع على عاتق الجميع، مواطنين ومسؤولين وإعلاميين.
وخلال الفترة الماضية، شهدت المدينة تصاعدًا واضحًا في الخلافات داخل المجلس البلدي والإدارة التنفيذية، تزامن مع إجراءات اتُّخذت بحق مدير المدينة، السيد العدلاني، بدأت بإنذار شفهي، ثم إنذار خطي، في ظل حديث متزايد عن محاولات قد تؤدي إلى إنهاء عمله قبل اكتمال فترة التقييم الوظيفي الأولى.
وبحسب ما يتم تداوله داخل الأوساط السياسية والإدارية، فإن جانبًا من هذا الصراع يرتبط برفض مدير المدينة الاستجابة لبعض الطلبات والمصالح الخاصة التي سعى بعض أعضاء المجلس البلدي إلى تمريرها، الأمر الذي أدى إلى تصاعد الخلافات ومحاولات إقصائه من منصبه. ومن بين هؤلاء أعضاء يُحسبون على المجتمع اليمني الأمريكي، وهو ما يحمّل الجميع مسؤولية أخلاقية مضاعفة في تحكيم الضمير وتقديم مصلحة المدينة فوق أي اعتبارات شخصية.
إن الهيئة السياسية اليمنية الأمريكية لا تنحاز للأشخاص بقدر ما تنحاز للمبادئ، وفي مقدمتها الشفافية، وحماية المال العام، واحترام القانون، واستقلالية الإدارة التنفيذية عن الضغوط والمصالح الخاصة.
كما نعبر عن أسفنا تجاه بعض الممارسات الإعلامية التي اختارت توجيه الاتهامات والتلميحات نحو أطراف بعيدة عن جوهر الخلاف الحقيقي، بدلًا من نقل الوقائع للرأي العام بمهنية ومسؤولية، رغم معرفة بعض المتابعين والإعلاميين بما يدور خلف الكواليس.
إننا نؤمن أن أبناء هامترامك يستحقون معرفة الحقيقة، ويستحقون مؤسسات مستقرة تُدار بالكفاءة والنزاهة، لا بالصراعات الشخصية أو الحسابات الضيقة.
وندعو جميع أبناء المجتمع إلى متابعة ما يجري بوعي ومسؤولية، وعدم الانجرار وراء حملات التشويه أو الاستقطاب، والتمسك بمبدأ أن خدمة المدينة ومصالح سكانها يجب أن تبقى فوق أي نفوذ أو مصلحة خاصة.
هذا البيان يهدف إلى التوعية المجتمعية وتعزيز قيم الشفافية والمساءلة، ولا يُعد تبنيًا قانونيًا لأي اتهامات أو ادعاءات بحق أي طرف، مع التأكيد على احترام جميع الإجراءات القانونية والإدارية المعمول بها.

📌 Awareness Statement Issued by the Yemeni American Political Committee

As part of our community responsibility to raise awareness among the residents of the City of Hamtramck regarding developments within city institutions, and to follow issues affecting the city’s present and future, we affirm that preserving integrity and transparency in municipal governance is a shared responsibility that falls upon everyone — residents, officials, and media professionals alike.
Over the past period, the city has witnessed a noticeable escalation in disputes within the City Council and the executive administration, coinciding with actions taken against the City Manager, Mr. Al-Adlani, beginning with a verbal warning followed by a written warning, amid increasing discussions about attempts that could lead to the termination of his employment before the completion of his first performance evaluation period.
According to discussions circulating within political and administrative circles, part of this conflict appears to be connected to the City Manager’s refusal to comply with certain requests and special interests that some council members sought to push forward, which subsequently intensified the disputes and efforts to remove him from his position. Among those involved are members associated with the Yemeni American community, which places an even greater moral responsibility on الجميع to act with conscience and prioritize the interests of the city above any personal considerations.
The Yemeni American Political Committee does not stand with individuals as much as it stands with principles — foremost among them transparency, protection of public funds, respect for the law, and the independence of the executive administration from pressure and private interests.
We also express our concern regarding certain media practices that have chosen to direct accusations and insinuations toward parties unrelated to the core of the actual dispute, rather than presenting facts to the public with professionalism and responsibility, despite some observers and media figures being aware of what is taking place behind the scenes.
We firmly believe that the residents of Hamtramck deserve to know the truth and deserve stable institutions governed by competence and integrity — not by personal conflicts or narrow interests.
We call upon all members of the community to follow these developments with awareness and responsibility, to avoid being drawn into campaigns of defamation or polarization, and to uphold the principle that serving the city and protecting the interests of its residents must remain above any influence or private agenda.
This statement is intended solely for community awareness and the promotion of transparency and accountability. It does not constitute a legal endorsement of any accusations or claims against any party, while affirming respect for all applicable legal and administrative procedures.
