The Hancock Fire Department will host an open house on Saturday, January 10, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All are welcome to stop in, say hello to our first responders, and learn about the department's operations and future plans. We'll provide refreshments.

Burn ban lifted, but if you plan to burn you brush pile, you need to first obtain a burn permit. Burn permits available via local fire wardens or online.

Your scary friends of the Hancock Fire Department will be offering tractor rides during trick-or-treating this Halloween, Friday, October 31, 5-7 p.m. between the Town Offices and the fountain.
Free, but donations are welcome.

Here's a new twist on this year's Halloween in Hancock. Members of the Hancock Fire Department will provide hay wagon rides on Main and School Streets during trick or treating hours on Halloween, Friday, October 31. Donations and spooky riders of all ages graciously accepted.

Many thanks to all who participated in this fundraiser.
We'd especially like to thank the generous individual who donated the camper.
This was a terrific fundraiser for the Hancock Fire Department Association, helping us support essential services for Hancock's first responders. We sold more than 250 tickets and had a great time in the process, meeting and chatting with fabulous folks in this community. Thank you, Hancock!
