Attention! During a tornado warning the county triggers the siren to go off in town. Communication between the county and the tornado siren is currently not working. Until we get the siren communication working again: If there is a tornado warning the county will notify the fire department and they will drive a truck around with the sirens of the fire truck activated. So if you hear that during a storm that means there is a tornado warning for the town of Hancock and you need to seek shelter. We will have an updated post when the siren communication has been established. If you see this please let your neighbors know.
