This summer, LBFE has been bringing our Forever Friends together for fun, friendship, and community connection! We celebrated Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, enjoyed the Chassell Strawberry Fest parade, and read stories with little ones during an intergenerational event with BHK.

The fun continues in the months ahead with senior socials, community celebrations, arts and cultural outings, and fall color tours, all designed to create lasting memories and help older adults stay connected to the communities they call home.

We had the honor of a special visit from our good friend, Denzer Waarala, a Vietnam veteran. He stopped by to donate an American Flag to LBFE. ❤️🤍💙

We are proud to fly this flag, and moments like this remind us of its symbolism of service, sacrifice and the enduring spirit of our country.

Each year before Memorial Day, you'll find Denzer placing 1,000 flags on veterans' graves throughout the community, honoring their service and ensuring those who served are never forgotten.

Thank you, Denzer, for your service and for the countless ways you give back to our community.
