The Wayne County Sheriff's Department has issued an AMBER Alert for 14 month old Owen Hidalgo - Calderon.

From the Sheriff's Department:

Hidalgo-Calderon is 14 mos old, 2' tall and weighs approximately 30lbs. He is known to need asthma medication.

THE CHILD WAS TAKEN UNDER CIRCUMSTANCES THAT LEAD POLICE TO BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE IN IMMINENT DANGER OF SERIOUS PHYSICAL HARM AND OR DEATH. Anyone with any information on this abduction is asked to call the WAYNE COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT at (866) NYS-AMBER or dial 911 to provide information on a report or sighting.

The Hancock Fire Department responds to multiple incidents on roadways. During the past month, we have had multiple incidents where members have almost been struck by vehicles.

The Hancock Fire Department is trained in Traffic Incident Managment and Highway Safety for Emergency Responders. We use signs, cones, arrow/message boards and fire trucks to warn you about the scene and to give you plenty of time to move over and slow down. Please be cautious and aware of your surroundings while going through an emergency scene or when you see a stopped emergency vehicle on the side of the road.

Move Over, Slow Down. It's the law.

We want to go home to our family's and the ones we love.
