Our 8th graders in Ms. Carrillo’s math/science class kicked off the school year with the Penny Lab, putting the scientific method to work while exploring variables, repeated trials, averages, and even those sneaky outliers! 📊🔎

🎓✨ HESD Grad Walks ✨🎓

On Friday, our elementary sites welcomed back a very special group of visitors—members of the Class of 2026! 🎉

Graduates returned to the schools where their educational journeys began, walking the halls in their caps and gowns while current students lined the corridors to cheer them on. 📣👏

From future dreams to graduation achievements, these students are a reminder of what hard work, perseverance, and determination can accomplish. We are incredibly proud of our graduates and wish them all the best as they begin their next chapter.

🎓 HESD Highlight – Monroe Elementary 🐴

Today, Monroe Elementary celebrated and bid farewell to its amazing 6th graders! Many of these students have been part of the Monroe family since TK or Kindergarten, making this a truly special and meaningful milestone.

We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished during their time at Monroe and wish them the very best as they begin the next chapter of their educational journey in junior high. Congratulations, Mustangs! Your hard work, growth, and achievements have prepared you for great things ahead.
