Field Days. Something our town has missed the last couple years will be back this July 10th and 11th. Some people are asking why in July instead of August as before. We had to move weekends to lock in the ride vendor due to our old weekend is now booked with another event.

Parade entry can be made by calling Travis Floral 315-564-6606.

Friday night music Steve Cali.
Saturday night music David Domicolo and then Coldfront.

Things will look slightly different this year. We will be hosting some food trucks in place of our hot dog booth and Smokey bears booth.
Currently we are planning to host Ashley Lynn Winery wine slushy trailer, Elm Street Tacos, Garafolo’s and Cams Pizzeria.
This is something new to us and we will do our best to accommodate our community.

Chicken bbq will be taking place as normal. Rides are all set. Beer booth will be normal also.

We would like to thank the community for the outpouring of support in bringing this great event back to our town.

Thank you to our Field Days Committee for all the hours they are putting into planning this.

Share some photos of your memories in the comments. Let us know what you’re excited for.

Adding that there will be gambling wheels, pull tabs and cake wheel as well.

The members of the Hannibal Fire Company would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who participated in today’s Mock DWI Drill.

We appreciate the support and cooperation from our members, the Oswego Town Fire Department, Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, Menter Ambulance, and the Oswego County STOP-DWI Program for helping make this important educational event possible.

Events like this help raise awareness about the dangers and life-changing consequences of driving while impaired. By working together, we hope to make a lasting impact on our students and community and encourage safe and responsible decisions behind the wheel.

Thank you again to all of the agencies, volunteers, school staff, and participants who dedicated their time and effort today.

Tomorrow morning, members of the Hannibal Fire Company will be participating in the Mock DWI Drill at the Hannibal High School.

This event is designed to show students the very real and devastating consequences that driving while intoxicated can have on individuals, families, and the community. Through this realistic scenario, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of making safe and responsible decisions behind the wheel.

Driving impaired puts everyone at risk. We encourage all students and community members to always plan ahead, use a designated driver, and never get behind the wheel while under the influence. One decision can change lives forever.

We appreciate the opportunity to work alongside our partner agencies and school staff to help educate and protect our community.

We’d like to thank the Oswego Town Volunteer Fire Department for their assistance earlier today. They provided a chief and rescue truck to assist pumping out a basement with approximately 5 feet of water, and later responded with an additional rescue for an EMS call.

Manpower can be difficult to secure at times, and we are grateful to have mutual aid partners who are always ready to respond at a moment’s notice.
