Thunderstorms are expected over the area through tonight. A few of these storms could become severe this afternoon and this evening, capable of producing damaging winds, large hail, and possible tornadoes. Know where to go if a warning is issued for your location.

A Flood Watch remains in effect into tonight as several rounds of thunderstorms are expected to move across the region. These thunderstorms are expected to bring 1 to 3 inches of rainfall with locally higher amounts. Thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall repeatedly over the same areas could produce flash flooding.

Over the last few hours the National Weather Service (NWS) has increased the Hannibal area risk from "Marginal" to "Slight" risk of severe weather.

We will continue to monitor for updates from NWS. Remember to have multiple methods to receive updates. Have a plan. Stay Weather Aware.

Two rounds of severe thunderstorms are possible over the area both late tonight in Sunday morning and again on Sunday afternoon and evening. The greater threat will be with the second round which will includes the risk for damaging winds, large hail, and possible tornadoes. Know where to go if a warning is issued for your location.
