It’s community collaboration that makes this all possible!
We couldn’t have planned all of these events without Missouri Humanities, Missouri Arts Council, Visit Missouri, Hannibal Parks & Recreation, Historic Downtown Hannibal and all of our generous sponsors and donors. Make sure to check out all of our events on fb and our website!!
At last week’s Hannibal City Council meeting, Mayor Darrell McCoy presented an official proclamation declaring June 9, 2026 as "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer 150th Anniversary Day", encouraging residents and visitors alike to celebrate this milestone and honor the lasting literary and cultural contributions of Mark Twain. How cool is that?! Twain would be proud.
Pictured with Mayor McCoy are Kami Harsell (HCVB Sales and Marketing Manager), Megan Rapp (Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum Director) and Trisha O'Cheltree (Visit Hannibal MO Director).
Thank you to the City of Hannibal, MO Government and Mayor McCoy for this recognition.
