There’s just a few days left to RSVP for the native grass seminar and pasture walk, on Wednesday May 27 from 10 to 3! Participants will start at the Montpelier Branch Library, followed by a pasture walk at the farm of Mr. Andy Duke.

Participants will learn how to establish and manage perennial native warm-season grasses (NWSG) for grazing operations and wildlife.

Register by Friday May 22 by calling the H-C SWCD office at 804-537-3009.

Consider becoming a certified Virginia Save Our Streams monitor! Monitors give streams regular “check ups” by collecting and counting benthic macroinvertebrates (stream bugs!🪱🐌🪲) found in streams.
