🌟 Happy DSP Monday! Tasha Trimpey 🌟

This week we are excited to recognize Tasha Trimpey from our Southwest region, representing Everett.

Tasha has been with Focus for 4.5 years. She enjoys remembering birthdays and doing stencils, bringing a thoughtful and creative touch to everything she does.

Her favorite part of being a DSP includes creating meaningful memories, like taking an individual to the zoo. During the visit, the individual was “directing traffic” in the parking lot and later got to feed some of the animals.

Our group had a wonderful outing to Altoona today and enjoyed a delicious meal together at Outback Steakhouse! 🍽️

Group gathering’s provide great opportunities to build friendships, practice social skills, and create lasting memories while exploring local businesses. Everyone had a fantastic time sharing laughs, good conversation, and great food.

Thank you to the staff at Outback Steakhouse for their hospitality and for helping make our visit enjoyable. We look forward to many more adventures together!

This week we are excited to recognize Alexis Scott from our Southwest region, representing Acosta.

Alexis enjoys reading, painting, crochet, spending time outdoors, golfing, and going to the gym. She brings a creative and active spirit into everything she does.

Her favorite part of being a DSP is supporting people every day and making a positive impact in their lives. Her dedication and compassion truly reflect the heart of this work. 🤍

Success Saturday: Turning Fun into Purpose 🎳💛

What started as a simple “club” has grown into something truly meaningful. Over the past few years, M.W. has been building a space for connection, fun, and community. Recently, the club took an inspiring step forward by adding a deeper purpose behind their gatherings.

Last month, members of the club, along with others who wanted to join, came together for a special outing at the bowling alley. While enjoying time together, they also focused on giving back by creating Get Well Soon cards for children at Shriners Children’s Hospital.

The result was incredible. A table full of thoughtful, colorful cards, each one filled with kindness, encouragement, and care. What may seem like a small gesture will make a big impact on the children receiving them.

This is what community is all about. Bringing people together, creating meaningful experiences, and spreading positivity beyond our own circles.

A special thank you to Will Herren for sharing this story with us and helping highlight such an impactful moment.

We are so proud of the growth, leadership, and heart shown through this initiative, and we cannot wait to see what this club does next 💛

On Wednesday, we celebrated an incredible milestone as Getty and Maggie officially stepped into retirement. Their years of dedication, compassion, and hard work have left a lasting impact on everyone around them, and they will be deeply missed.

Thank you both for everything you’ve given, your time, your energy, and your hearts. Wishing you endless relaxation, happiness, and new adventures in this next chapter!
