Hanover Parks, Recreation and Library Services held our first ever Therapeutic Recreation Day picnic at Union Park. Thanks to Hanover Area Fire and Rescue, Hanover Police Department, Hanover Department of Codes Enforcement, and The Alliance of Therapy Dogs for taking time out of their schedules to make our first ever TR day a huge success!

It’s almost that time again…..Hanover Chili Cookoff is September 6 and this year marks 30 years of this important fundraiser in Hanover. Once again Hanover Parks & Recreation is proud to partner with the Hanover Chili Cookofff by sponsoring the mechanical bull! Stop by and see us, try your luck at bull riding, and maybe even grab one of these cool P&R cowboy hats and bandanas, proudly being shown off here by members of the Chili Cookoff committee. Tickets are on sale now! Pick yours up at the Borough offices or Guthrie Memorial Library!

Today's the day!
The splash dance foam party happens at 1PM at Moul Field. Swimwear is suggested. This event is geared for kids ages K-8th grade.

We're celebrating summer with a big splash - that is a big foamy splash! Met us at Moul Field Thursday, August 6 from 1PM - 2:30PM for playtime in a field of foam! This FREE Borough of Hanover Parks & Recreation event is intended for kids grades K-8. Swimwear is recommended.

Thank you to everyone who took part in our Park & Recreation Month Scavenger Hunt! Here are a few of the pictures from teams who completed the hunt. All participants will receive a cool Parks & Recreation t-shirt, and one lucky winner will be receiving a $100 gift card (drawing will be held later this week).
