SrA Powell-Fields demonstrating excellence as always! ⭐️ Way to represent the Blue Knight family! 💪

💪 Fitness is in their blood! SrA Kathleen Jones ran a record of 71 shuttles during her Performance Fitness Assessment, a first for the CMSgt Lankford EPME Center Airman Leadership School. SrA Antonio Powell-fields received a perfect fitness assessment score, maxing all components.

Both were recognized by the TEC First Sgt for their outstanding performance with the Diamond Sharp Certificate and Coin.

📢 Federal Holiday Gate Closures – Important Notice 📢

To prepare for the upcoming holiday season, please be aware of the following gate closures:

🔒 Ruiz Gate, Visitor Control Center (VCC), and Commercial Vehicle Search Area (CVSA) will be closed on:
• 24–26 December 2025
• 1–2 January 2026

➡️ During these closures, all visitor passes and commercial vehicle searches will be conducted at Sartain Gate.

🚨BASE HOUSING PARKING BAN IN EFFECT🚨

Hanscom Family Housing is implementing a Parking Ban in response to the winter weather advisory and potential snow accumulations, effective 8:00am tomorrow. We will continue to monitor snowfall and update residents as the storm progresses. The initial 24-hour parking ban will commence on Tuesday, December 2nd at 8:00am and conclude on Wednesday at 8:00am.

Protecting Our Community: Register Your Fi****ms!
Ensuring the safety and security of our base housing community is our top priority. This flyer provides important information regarding the mandatory registration of privately owned fi****ms (POFs) for residents on Hanscom AFB.

WHO: All residents of Hanscom AFB base housing.
WHAT: Mandatory Registration of all privately owned fi****ms (rifles, shotguns, handguns, etc.).
WHY: To enhance safety and security within our community. Non-compliance can result in serious consequences.

✅ IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
• Secure Storage is a MUST! Fi****ms must be stored unloaded in a locked container (gun safe, hard-sided case with padlock, etc.). Ammunition must be stored separately.
• Safe Transportation: When transporting fi****ms, they must be unloaded and secured in a locked container. Keep the firearm and ammunition separated.
• Concealed Carry: On Hanscom AFB, concealed carrying of a firearm is prohibited.
• Report Changes: If you buy, sell, or transfer a firearm, notify Security Forces within 72 hours.
