Who is ready to level up their leadership this summer? ☀️

The Bridging Brown County Leadership Summer Sprint is officially taking shape!

Our first session, Leading through Workforce Shifts, is set for Wednesday, June 17th. We are putting together a fantastic panel of local leaders who are excited to share their insights into the real-time workforce trends shaping our local industries.

We are also incredibly excited to introduce Rachael Evers as our Leadership Educator for the program! Rachael will be guiding our cohort throughout the summer and leading our final interactive "Energy & Power Board" workshop.

🗓️ The Details: 3 Full-Day Sessions (June, July, August) featuring 90-minute morning workshops and exclusive afternoon community tours.

Bridging Brown County is thrilled to announce the 2026 Leadership Summer Sprint! This condensed, three-part program is designed to connect, engage, and develop leaders right here in our community.

What to expect: Each date is a full-day experience featuring a highly focused 90-minute leadership workshop, followed by exclusive, behind-the-scenes tours of local Brown County organizations!

We are thrilled to announce two new additions to the Bridging Brown County Board of Directors! 🌟

Please join us in welcoming Shawna Hamlin (Region 1) and Angela Suggs (Region 3)! 🤝

Shawna joins us from Springfield, where she serves as the Clinical Services Manager at Sleepy Eye Medical Center. She is passionate about building a cohesive county and strengthening our rural communities.

Angela, a resident of New Ulm and a Travel Coordinator at J&R Schugel Trucking, is committed to building strong connections between local people and businesses. Her "Be the Change" philosophy is exactly the energy we need as we grow our programs.

We are excited to have these two "bridge-builders" on our team as we prepare for our summer leadership sessions and our annual fundraising efforts!

We'd like to take a moment to look back and say a massive thank you to everyone involved in our January session in Sleepy Eye!

We started the day at Mathiowetz Construction. Thank you to Executive Vice President Julie Anderson for the warm welcome! Our Leadership Program Educator, Rachael Evers, then led an excellent session focused on "Working Through the Tough Stuff".

A huge thank you to Mathiowetz Construction for sponsoring our lunch , which was a delicious chicken dinner catered by Schutz Family Foods

Our afternoon included insightful stops at Afinitas and the City of Sleepy Eye Police Department. We wrapped up the educational portion of the day with a presentation by Kurk Kramer from the Sleepy Eye EDA. We finished off a great day with a social hour at the Sleepy Eye Golf Club
