Halling Water Well Service located in Hanston, KS is now hiring a water well technician. Looking for an individual who possesses good listening skills, verbal communication and basic math skills. The right individual should be able to professionally handle sometimes challenging outdoor conditions while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. They will be able to work in a team environment in a positive and efficient manner. This position will occasionally require working evenings and weekends dependent upon workload. The water well technician aids in the completions of domestic, industrial and agricultural water wells. Experience in water well servicing, drilling or construction is preferred but willing to train the right individual.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities and Expectations:
*Drill water wells.
*Working knowledge of water well drilling equipment operation.
*Operate other equipment as needed for job.
*Monitor the performance of equipment and document.
*Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
*Complete all required paperwork/daily reports and work orders in timely manner.
*Willing to work demanding hours when needed.
*Work Hours: Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
*Show Respect to all Customers and other Employees.
Minimum Qualifications (Experience/Education):
Must possess or be able to possess a Class A CDL license. Must have a clean driving record-background check required. Be able to follow instructions from customers and communicate competently about water well installation. Electrical and/or plumbing knowledge a plus. The technician must be mechanically inclined and be able to troubleshoot equipment, pumps and motor problems in yard as well as on job site. Compensation will be based on experience. Full-time and Part-time Available.
