The Harbor Beach Police Department has taken various complaints about golf carts in town throughout the summer. Please look over the attached Golf Cart Ordinance for the legal operation of golf carts on city streets. Just a brief explanation on fireworks within the city. Lighting fireworks on public property is prohibited (parks, sidewalks, streets, ect)
I will attach a copy of the law which allows you to light fireworks on private property but remember you’re responsible for the embers and trash that is made from the fireworks. If embers are falling on the neighbors property you’re in violation. The specific times are outlined below.
