🎶 National Night Out: Two Special Performances This Year! 🎶

Join us for an evening of fun, food, and community! We’re especially excited to add live performances to National Night Out this year and give our community the opportunity to support some of our talented local performers!

🥁 6:30 PM: Hardeeville Junior & Senior High School Marching Shockwave
💃 7:15 PM: Palmetto Dance Center

The fun starts Tuesday, September 1, from 6–8 PM at Ridgeland Secondary Academy of Excellence, located at 250 Jaguar Trail in Ridgeland, SC.

With more than 30 participating agencies and vendors, there will be plenty to see and do, including FREE food, games, Touch-a-Truck activities, community resources, and more! 🇺🇸💙

Today is History of National Park Service Founders Day!

Today, we recognize National Park Service Founders Day, a time to reflect on the history, vision, and dedication that helped shape our national parks.

Our national parks preserve beautiful landscapes, wildlife, historic places, and stories that belong to all of us. The National Park Service was established on August 25, 1916, with a mission to preserve these special places while making them available for everyone to enjoy and learn from.

Founders Day is a reminder of the importance of protecting our natural and cultural treasures for future generations. 🌎❤️

Let’s continue to explore, learn, and appreciate the incredible places that tell the story of America.
