Roadway is cleared and operational

There is a wreck on Highway 146 between the Elementary School and Hardin Administration Building restricting traffic flow from the red light to the Administration Office. No school operations are impacted at this time. We are closely monitoring the situation for impacts on afternoon transportation. We will keep you updated if there are any changes to any afternoon pick up or bus procedures for any Campus as we receive more information.

Our first student progress reports of the school year will be available Tuesday, August 25th! 📅

This is a great time for students and families to check in on grades, celebrate a strong start, and make a plan for continued success! ⭐

Kicked off our August board meeting with a buzzing great presentation by our amazing HHS student Council led by sponsors Mrs. Amanda Key and Mrs. Callie Moyer! The student leaders and sponsors are shaking things up and making it happen to bring school spirit, fun and a culture of service to HISD! Thank you sponsors and students! 💙💛💙💛👐💙💛💙💛

📌 Applications are due Wednesday, October 14, 2026, to Amanda Key, Hardin High School Student Council Sponsor. All approved participants will receive confirmation and event instructions prior to Trunk or Treat.

🎟️ ATTENDING TRUNK OR TREAT?
Admission is $5 per vehicle for families attending the event. There is no admission charge for those hosting a trunk or booth. Proceeds help Hardin High School Student Council cover the costs of providing this special community event.

Trunk or Treat will be held in the Hardin Elementary School parking lot with the goal of providing a safe, fun, and family-friendly experience for our Hardin students and families.

THANK YOU to everyone who came out to Meet the Hornets! The energy, excitement, and support from our Hardin community means everything to our students, coaches, directors, and sponsors.

The countdown is ON! ⏰ We can’t wait to watch our athletes, band, cheerleaders, Honeybees, and every Hornet organization take the field, the court, the stage, and beyond as they represent Hardin with pride all year long.
