In observance of Labor Day, all Central Kentucky Community Action Council offices, Transportation, Senior Centers, and Head Start locations will be CLOSED on Monday, Sept. 7.

We will resume regular operating hours on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

We hope everyone in our community has a safe, restful, and happy holiday weekend as we celebrate the hard work and dedication of workers across Central Kentucky.

To help offset cooling costs with a one-time electric benefit, Kentucky households can apply for LIHEAP Summer Subsidy. No disconnect notice, past-due bill, or eviction notice is required to apply. Application appointments will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, or until funds are depleted.

Households must meet eligibility requirements, including household income of up to 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines to qualify for assistance. Benefits are paid directly to the household’s electric vendor. Applicants need to bring their household’s gross monthly income from the previous month, their photo ID, proof of address/residency, and social security cards for all members of their household.

Interested households should contact their local Community Action office, based on county of residence, to determine eligibility and complete the application process. To locate the office serving your county, visit https://ckcac.org/about/locations/.

Welcome to our NEW BeeHive Homes of Grayson County page! Due to our last page being hacked, we had to create a new account. We hope to someday get our account back to merge the two together, but this will be our page for all things related to The Hive from now on!

For those that may not know us, our names are Zach and Bailee Roberson, and we are the owners of BeeHive Homes of Grayson County. I (Bailee) have worked at The BeeHive since April of 2018, and my husband and I purchased the business in July 2025 from John and Mary Nell Bouvier. We feel so blessed to do what we love each day, and we are so thankful for our wonderful community that makes it possible.
