Bell County Texas Cemeteries and Historical Places We truly have an incredible past! One thing I love to do is visit cool places, and meet wonderful people. From hysterical to the Historical is my motto.

I am currently the Vice Chair of the Bell County Historical Commision, and I am Sharing my advendtures, Historical stories, restoring markers here in Bell County Texas. I think it is time I shared these experiences with you, with pictures, video, and my blog as well. It is about the fun in travel, the passion of fellowship and the joy of sharing a good story.

This large photo has a new home. This is Woods drugstore, the drugstore linked to Bonnie and Clyde. It will soon be Hanging at “Let’s eat Texas”. That was the old Woods Drugstore. We will be working with the owners to create a display in the store.

Well, progress has been made on the Primitive Baptist Church! The city of Killeen is assisting with Grant paperwork, supporting the Killeen Area Heritage Association! Planning ahead has gone from days, to months, to now years! The work from our volunteers, and community has been incredible!

Stop by to see the Texas America250 exhibit at the Bell County Museum! The exhibit was produced by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission and highlights historically significant Texas Treasures from the State Archives. The exhibit will be on display through Saturday, September 12. Don’t miss it!
