We asked the Chair of the NAN NYC Chapter Political Action Committee, Dawn Jones, why she thinks it's important to vote, and here's what she said! 👇🏽

She also shared valuable information that we continue to pass along to the public. 😊

Have you registered to vote yet? In New York City, October 26th is the last day to submit your registration forms by mail, online, or in person. Remember that forms must be submitted at least 7 DAYS BEFORE the October 26th deadline!

Voting has already started across the country, and we have just 34 days until Voter's Day on November 5th! If you haven't registered to vote yet, head to the Board of Elections! If you bump into someone on the street or know family and friends who need to register, direct them to www.vote.nyc.

Prepare and have a plan for voting: know the issues, research the candidates, and understand what's at stake beyond the Presidential Election. This is a critical election, and EVERYONE must participate in the democratic process!

What motivates you to vote? Let us know!
