Hugs Are Nice 🤗💚 – Social-Emotional Development Activity
As part of our Frog Street curriculum, the children participated in a social-emotional learning activity called “Hugs Are Nice.” We talked about how hugs can make us feel loved, happy, safe, and cared for. The children were encouraged to share how they feel when they give a hug and when they receive a hug from someone they trust.
We also discussed that everyone has different feelings about hugs and that it is important to ask permission and respect personal space. This activity helped the children practice identifying and expressing their emotions while learning about kindness, affection, and healthy social interactions. 💕
