Congratulations to my niece, Sofia Juliet, Salutatorian of the Class of 2026 at Harlingen School of Health Professions. It’s been an honor to see this blossoming transformation over the years at HSHP from a curious little 8th grader to a bright, kind and talented young woman. I had the immense privilege of being her librarian and even prouder role of auntie. I’ll miss her voice saying “Hi, Tia!” every morning, but she is on to the next chapter of her life at Texas A&M as a Terry Scholarship recipient. I also want to extend a Congratulations to my sister, Nadia, for being such an inspiration to Sofia and a wonderful mother. Cheers to the Class of 2026! 🎓

Had a blast presenting at Region One’s Tech Conference at SPI! My session, Canva Glow Up: New Tools You’ll Love, features fun new tools like Magic Layers, Style Match, and much more. We had a packed house! I also had the privilege of co-presenting with Melissa Haynie from Follett to share helpful tools from Titlewise. It wasn’t all presenting, though! I had lots of learning moments with Apple and Jolt. Great day!

It’s Wednesday! I’m about to finish Under the Same Stars by and it’s been a great read! Three stories of courage in three pivotal points in time with incredible characters. Now I know why this one was a standout novel in the Tayshas list. 👏🏼
