The City of Harper is seeking a law-enforcement professional who values integrity, community relationships and the important role public safety plays in small-town life.

Depending on the selected candidate’s experience, qualifications and leadership abilities, the position may be filled at the rank of Police Sergeant.
�� Wage range: $20.22–$32.31 per hour, depending on qualifications and appointment. Harper does have a residency requirement within 6-months of employment.
Applicants must have a high school diploma/GED and meet the certification and physical requirements of the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center. Sergeant candidates must have at least five years of law-enforcement experience.
