The Sageser Haas American Legion Post 650 is a member of Division 4, Department 21 (Texas) of the American Legion. Our meeting hall is located at 23747 U.S. 290 W. The Legion and the Auxiliary both meet on the first Thursday of even numbered months at the hall. We are a patriotic veteran organization devoted to mutual helpfulness and support of our community. We support the Boys State and the Orat
orical Contests of the American Legion and have sponsored youth in the Youth Leadership Conference. We also support the Gillespie County Honor Guard and Headwaters for Heroes in assisting local veterans and to the local community by assisting in funding street lighting in Harper and the Harper Sweethearts Banquet.
