The Officers and Members of the Harriman Engine Company #1 extend our sincere thoughts and prayers to the Coldenham Fire Department and all those affected by the events of last night.

For firefighters, both career and volunteer, a firehouse is far more than a building. It is a second home: a place we maintain with pride, train in, and share with our brothers and sisters in the service. Losing that space, and the ability to do what you love to the best you can, is like losing a part of yourself. We stand with our brothers and sisters as they navigate through this difficult time.

We ask our community to please keep the members of the Coldenham Fire Department in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures in our community.
Today, we especially recognize the fathers who answer the call to serve as volunteer firefighters while balancing family, work, and community commitments. Your dedication, sacrifice, and example of service inspire the next generation every day.
Thank you for all you do, both at home and in the firehouse. We wish you a safe and happy Father’s Day.

One of our brothers from Lakeside , John Braunagel, has been given some unfortunate health news. Our neighbors and friends have been asking how they can help and the family is grateful for all the support thus far; it has been overwhelming. They asked us to set up a Meal Train, so they do not have to leave John's side and can focus on his care.

The family is only asking for our love and prayers. For those wishing to donate a restaurant gift card or a meal, the family is greatly appreciative and humbled.

The family thanks everyone for their well wishes and prayers during this time, especially for the great care of their doctors and the support of the FDNY.

John and Kelly need our support so that they can focus on quality time together.
