🚫 Updated Parking Ordinances – 331‑10 &  331‑11
Harrington Park has enacted updates to our snow‑emergency parking rules and overnight‑parking regulations to improve roadway safety and ensure emergency access throughout town.
Snow Emergencies (§331‑10): When snow covers the roadway, a snow emergency exists and no vehicles may be parked on any Borough street until the road has been plowed at least once. Vehicles left in the roadway may be removed at the owner’s expense.
Overnight Parking (§331‑11): No vehicle shall be parked on any street in the Borough of Harrington Park between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., unless an appropriate waiver has been received from the Harrington Park Police Department. Section A designates certain narrow streets where overnight parking is never permitted due to safety and emergency‑access concerns
(Downing Place, Martha Road, Thomas Street, Lohs Place, First Street, Second Street, Third Street, Norma Road, Florence Road (south of Harriot Avenue), Elliot Road, Carman Road, Giles Road, Parkway, Columbus Avenue, South Avenue, Semmens Road, and Ward Way). No waivers allowed for these locations.
To help residents adjust to these newly enacted changes, the Borough will have a 60‑day grace period before enforcement begins.
